Asociación de Pequeños Productores de Villa Río Hondo

We are a Civil Association of Small Producers of Río Hondo from the Department of the same name. We are established in the town of Villa Río Hondo, distant 16 km from Las Termas de Rio Hondo.

We have been integrated as an organization since 2011 and we belong to different locations in the Río Hondo Department such as Patillo, Villa Río Hondo, Cuico, Acos, Puesto San Antonio, Bahoma, Quebracho Ralo, Agua Dulce, El Manantial, Barrialito and Las Termas de Río Hondo. . Since 2005 we have carried out joint activities with other communities, local governments and technical assistance institutions present in the Department.

As farmers we carry out various productive activities, among which the production of vegetables in small-scale orchards, the breeding of small ruminants (goats, sheep), pigs and poultry stand out. Among the handicrafts that we make is the elaboration of syrups, sweets, liquors, baked goods, honey, wooden objects, palm, medicinal soaps, etc.
