AZCAM, Asociación Civil Zonal Campesina del Departamento Jimenez

We are a Peasant Zonal Association located in the Jiménez Department. We are made up of families from places and towns such as Pozo Hondo, Bajo Hondo, Chañar Pugio, Buen Lugar, Humaita, El Uclar, Alto Pozo y Cashico. 

As a community we started our joint activities in 2004 and formally in 2016. We carry out joint community and marketing activities to promote our productions. 

We are mainly dedicated to the production in orchards and to goat and poultry farming. Among our products, vegetables, sweets, honey, baked goods, carob flour, cheeses, wood and leather handicrafts, ornamental and forest seedlings, among others, stand out. 

We are part of El Almacén Campesino located in the city of Las Termas de Rio Hondo, and we have our own store in the town of Pozo Hondo.
